Eddie Molina, DDS
“Dr. Eddie” as he is known by his patients, is the founder and visionary behind Molina Dentistry. Over the years, Dr. Eddie has dedicated thousands of hours to learning through continuing education and is a graduate of the prestigious Kois Center – an evidence-based teaching institution with the latest advances in esthetics, implants, and restorative dentistry. As our lead dentist and Smile Makeover expert, Dr. Eddie is meticulous and passionate about his craft; this is evident to all his patients from their very first appointment. Q: Why Did You Want To Become A Dentist?
A: Dr. Eddie decided to become a dentist at the age of 15. It was a cavity on his front tooth that made him experience discomfort. His lack or resources forced him to go through some time without getting it fixed which made him self-conscious about his health and appearance. Embarrassed by this dark hole on his front tooth, Dr. Eddie finally got it “fixed” with a filling. It was then he realized the powerful impact dentistry could have on a person.
Later, on a school trip to San Francisco, Dr. Eddie took a tour of the UCSF School of Dentistry. After speaking to his now mentor, he became fascinated by all of the different facets of the field and made his choice to pursue a career in dentistry. Dr. Eddie’s passion for art, engineering, and unending learning has made his love for the profession grow more with each passing day.
Q:Where Did You Receive Your Training?
A: Dr. Eddie graduated from CSU Fresno State with a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry and a Minor in Art and Physical Science. He then went on to obtain his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from UCSF School of Dentistry. Upon graduation, Dr. Eddie began private practice and his training at the Kois Center in Seattle, Washington. After years of doing both, he graduated from the Kois Center and went on to obtain his Fellowship in Implant Dentistry from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
To date, Dr. Eddie continues to learn and stay abreast of the latest and greatest in dentistry. His desire to provide the best care for his patients has led him to invest heavily in technology and seek training by some of the leading experts in the field. Dr. Eddie is passionate about giving his patients hope by offering full mouth rehabilitation services in a safe and comfortable setting, under sedation.

Q: Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like To Do?
A: When Dr. Eddie isn’t working, he stays busy with his four boys: Xavier, Sabastian, Alexander, and Oliver. Dr. Eddie loves that his boys are involved in things like soccer (his favorite sport), swim, golf and music. Currently he is a coach for the U10 Fresno Christian Boys Soccer Team. When Dr. Eddie has free time, he also enjoys staying in shape by either working out or going on runs with his wife Dr. Patty. Dr. Eddie also loves to travel and try different kinds of foods. His favorite place to travel is Tulum in Mexico and he loves eating oysters – raw or fried!
Patty Molina, DDS
Dr. Patty was born and raised in Porterville, CA. After graduating Valedictorian from Porterville High, Dr. Patty attended Fresno State on a full ride through the Smittcamp Family Honors Scholarship Program. While at Fresno State, Dr. Patty was an NCAA Scholar Athlete and graduated with honors from the college of science. Dr. Patty went on obtain her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of the Pacific.
After dental school, Dr. Patty completed a post graduate residency at Community Regional Medical Center and Fresno VA Hospital. During this additional voluntary year of training she learned to treat both children and adults under general anesthesia, received additional training in orthodontics, removable dentures, emergency dental care and general dentistry.
Dr. Patty went on to work in the public sector for 7 years where she gained invaluable experience treating underserved communities. Dr. Patty has decided to join Dr. Eddie and our wonderful community at Sierra Mountain Dentistry. Dr. Patty has found her passion in treating children and helping our edentulous patients regain confidence and functionally with the assistance of dentures. Dr. Patty is a great addition and we cannot wait for you to meet her!
Together:
Dr. Eddie and Dr. Patty have been married for 15 years. Together they have four handsome boys; Xavier, Sebastian, Alexander, and Oliver. In their spare time, Dr. Eddie and Dr. Patty love to spend time with their family, coach soccer, go on long runs, travel, and attend continuing education courses to enhance their skills as dentists.
